STAAR Academic Growth

Summary

This report analyzes all STAAR data using the current STAAR file and calculates student growth based on that data. The results are presented in a transition table to show how students have progressed.

Note: While this report is similar to the Domain 2 Growth Report, it includes all tested students who have a measurable growth value. Unlike the official accountability calculation for Domain 2, this report does not exclude any students based on accountability rules.

Location: Assessment 3-8 or Assessment EOC

Usage

Review growth data using all STAAR data loaded to see many features of domain 2, such as which tests score 0-1 pts, accelerated learning points, and the growth transition table. Filters on the right let you view the report through different lenses, such as teachers and subpopulations.

* Special Note on Teachers

For Current Class Teachers, it is looking at the current year Class Roster Enrollment Snapshot A to see where students are each day

For the Tested Teacher, it links to the STAAR year displayed and uses the Class Roster Enrollment Winter submission (last Friday in February). When SDR files are loaded, when students are testing off campus, or when students from other districts are involved, this may result in a “No Teacher Assigned” message
