Fine Arts Courses Coding Summary

Report Location: Student>Student Custom Reports>Course Completion

Summary: This report lists students who have either a current or prior year high school credited Fine Arts course in the summer submission and displays current and prior year Fine Arts course data.

Note: This report does not require summer course completion records to be loaded for current year in order to review information.

Usage: Review Fine Arts sequencing for current and prior years for students who have taken a high school credited fine arts course(s).

Special Notes:

• If PEIMS course completion records have not been loaded for the year filter selected, only the prior year Fine Arts course columns will contain values.
• Current year and prior year Fine Arts course columns include Fine Arts courses reported in the PEIMS Extended Year submission.
• The All Subjects and Art subject include the following CTE courses:
  • 13001800 – Floral Design
  • 13001810 – Floral Design/Agricultural Laboratory and Field Experience
  • N1300270 – Advanced Floral Design

Definitions:

• Students Displayed
  • If PEIMS summer has been loaded, students are pulled from summer
  • If no PEIMS summer has been loaded, students are pulled from PEIMS fall snapshot
  • Students must have either a current year or prior year Fine Arts course in order to display
• Grade and Campus
  • If PEIMS summer file loaded, pulls last grade and campus values reported
  • If no PEIMS summer file loaded, pulls snapshot grade and campus values reported in PEIMS fall

    • Note: If PEIMS summer file is not loaded for the year selected, Special Program codes are pulled from the PEIMS fall file loaded

  • # Fine Arts Courses Completed – Total number of Fine Arts courses listed
  • # Fine Arts Course Sequences where credit was received – Total number of Fine Arts course parts for each sequence where Pass/Fail code = 01 or 08 (ex: 2 semester courses will display as 2 if student completes and passes both parts)
