CTE FTE Tier funding implemented in HB1525 as of the 2021-2022 school year utilizes mapping provided annually by TEA.

The annual update is posted generally in March/April.
OnDataSuite reporting will utilize the prior year Fund Level/Tier mapping in the current year until the current year file is released and processed in ODS.
As of 3/25/2025 – OnDataSuite is awaiting final clarifications from TEA on the 2024-2025 file provided. Target to update this reporting for 24-25 in ODS as soon as TEA confirms final clarifications. Any 24-25 CTE FTE Tier reporting at this time is based upon the 2023-2024 TEA mapping.

Tier 1 – All CTE Courses with No Service ID Level (Non-PS CTE Service IDs tab)
Tier 2 – PS Level 1 or 2 from the PS Course Code Level Credit tab
Tier 3 – PS Level 3 or 4 from the PS Course Code Level Credit tab

1. For by Service ID details – Student Custom Report – CTE – CTE Eligible Days and Contact Hours Post 2021 . This report will reflect by six weeks CTE Attendance reporting details at the Service ID level as it will tie to the CTE Tier funding level.

Blue – Tier 1 – Not an Approved Program of Study (ND)
Green – Tier 2 – Levels 1 & 2 in an Approved Program of Study (L12)
Beige – Tier 3 – Levels 3 & 4 in an Approved Program of Study (L34)

2. For CTE FTE Tier reporting:
- Student Custom Reports – FTE Reports – CTE FTE Report Post 2021. This report will provide by six weeks by Tier, the CTE FTEs reported as processed with the 24-25 Summer Promotion Logic schedule.
- Finance Custom Reports – Summary of Finance (SOF) Reports – Student Funding Detail Reports – HB3 Student FTE – Spec Ed, CTE, PRS Post 2021 This is the same Tier FTE reporting as in the Student report above and provides by Six Weeks. There is additional functionality (Finance Reporting Period Override) on the Finance Reports allowing Finance staff to ensure ONLY completed six weeks FTE data is flowing into the Summary of Finance Student Data Summary for the current year.
- Finance Custom Reports – Summary of Finance (SOF) Reports – Summary of Finance Summary – Summary of Finance – Student Data Summary. This is an overall summary of current year Refined Totals (ADA and FTE) for inputs to the Summary of Finance Template. Each total allows for a drilldown to see the respective calculation details (six weeks reporting).
