About OnView
OnView provides a simple dashboard interface for districts to link and display their latest state released Texas Academic Performance (TAPR)/Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) Report data
Where does the TAPR data come from
TAPR/TPRS reports are available to the public each year ( on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) website and do not provide any student level information outside of the aggregate data presented. For more information about TAPR/TPRS data please refer to the link below:

How often is the data updated?
OnView data files are uploaded by OnDataSuite (ODS) into the system after they are released publicly on the TEA website. Historically this data has been released in latter part of November, which is when ODS begins monitoring for the release of data. While districts receive their TAPR results a few weeks before the public release, our upload is aligned with the public release data file that contains ALL state/district results. Estimated Annual Update – Winter (Dec – February)
What data is available through the links
Visitors viewing data through the district published OnView link will have the ability to view the following items from within the dashboard.
Overview
- Student Ethnic Distribution
- Total Student Count
- Total Annual Graduate Count
- College and Career Ready Annual Graduate Percentage
- Advanced /Dual – Credit Course Completion Percentage
- Recommended High School Program (RHSP) / Distinguished Achievement Program (DAP)
- 4 Year Longitudinal Graduation Rates (State Region/District)
- 5 Year Longitudinal Graduation Rates (State Region/District)
- 4 Year Federal Graduation Rates (State/Region/District)
- 5 Year Federal Graduation Rates (State/Region/District)
- Attendance Rate (State/Region/District)
STAAR 3-8
The OnView STAAR 3-8 tab provides bar chart reports for the latest released TAPR/TPRS results (State, Region, District) by subject, ethnicity, Special Ed(current), Special Ed (Former), Continuously Enrolled, Non-Continuously Enrolled, Economically Disadvantaged and EB/EL for your district for the following key areas:
- Approaches Grade Level or Above
- Meets Grade Level or Above
- Masters Grade Level or Above
STAAR EOC
The OnView STAAR EOC tab provides bar chart reports for the latest released TAPR/TPRS results (State, Region, District) by subject, ethnicity, Special Ed (current), Special Ed (Former, Continuously Enrolled, Non-Continuously Enrolled, Economically Disadvantaged and EB/EL for your district for the following key areas:
- Approaches Grade Level or Above
- Meets Grade Level or Above
- Masters Grade Level or Above
Employees
The OnView Employees tab provides bar chart reports for the latest released TAPR/TPRS results (latest three years) by:
- Staff Assignment
- Teacher Ethnicity
- Teachers by Years Experience.
