STAAR Mobility Report

Location<Assessment 3-8/EOC<Longitudinal Summary

Report Purpose

The STAAR Mobility Report helps districts and campuses identify students whose STAAR assessment results may be attributed to a different district or campus due to student mobility. This report compares the student’s current PEIMS enrollment location with the district and campus where the STAAR assessment was taken.


Report Filters

School Year

Select the school year used for the analysis.

Campus

Select a campus to review student mobility results.

Subject

Filter results by one or more STAAR-tested subjects.

Focus List (Optional)

Limit results to a predefined student group or focus list.


Report Data

STAAR Data

Displays student demographic and assessment information including:

  • Local Student ID
  • Student Name
  • Gender
  • Ethnicity/Race
  • Date of Birth
  • Grade Level

PEIMS Information

Displays the student’s enrollment location based on the current PEIMS snapshot.

Current Campus

  • The campus where the student is currently enrolled in PEIMS.

STAAR Test Data

Displays assessment information from the STAAR administration.

Tested Campus

  • The campus where the student tested.

Snapshot Campus

  • The accountability campus associated with the student’s assessment record.

Year Tested

  • School year in which the STAAR assessment was administered.

Subject

  • STAAR subject tested.

Scale Score

  • Student’s STAAR scale score.

Raw Score

  • Number of questions answered correctly.

Performance Level Indicator

  • STAAR performance level earned on the assessment.

How to Use This Report

  • Identify students who tested at a campus different from their current enrollment campus.
  • Review students who transferred into the district after testing.
  • Analyze mobility trends that may impact accountability and assessment performance reviews.
  • Validate campus attribution for STAAR results prior to accountability reviews.
  • Support discussions around student mobility and academic performance.

  • The report is informational and does not alter official accountability attribution.
  • Current Campus reflects the student’s PEIMS enrollment based on the selected year.
  • Tested Campus reflects the location where the STAAR assessment was administered.
  • Students may appear multiple times if they tested in multiple subjects.
  • Assessment results displayed are based on available STAAR testing records loaded into OnDataSuite.

Accountability Consideration

Student mobility can significantly impact campus and district accountability outcomes. Reviewing differences between enrollment and testing locations can help districts better understand performance trends and student movement patterns throughout the school year.
