Student Data Validation

Summary: This report will display students who have one of these conditions:

  • Course Completion CTE Service ID without a matching CTE Attendance Service ID
  • CTE Attendance Service ID in 3rd or 6th six weeks with Eligible Days Present V1, V2, or V3 > 0 without a matching Course Completion CTE Service ID

Usage: Review this report to see if there are issues with reporting CTE course completion and/or CTE attendance service IDs.

Special Notes:

  • PEIMS Summer files must be loaded with both the CTE attendance and course completion records
  • Students who have a CTE course completion service ID without a corresponding CTE attendance service ID might be losing CTE attendance funding.
  • Students who have a CTE attendance service ID without a corresponding CTE course completion service ID might be missing a course completion record. These might be valid due to the student withdrawing before finishing requirements for awarding course completion.

      • 40110/43415 – Student School Association
    • Interchange Student Attendance
      • 42401 – Special Programs Reporting Period Attendance
        • 42410 – Career and Technical Education Attendance
    • Interchange Student Transcript
      • 43415 – Course Completion

Definitions:

  • Grade and Campus – Grade E0017 and Campus ID of Enrollment E0782 found in Student School Association Extension
  • Service ID – E0724 found in the 43415 Course Completion record
  • CTE Attendance Service ID – E0724 found in the 42410 CTE Attendance record
  • CTE Reporting Period (E0934) and sum of CTE-V1 (E0950, E1696, E1702), CTE-V2 (E0951, E1697, E1703), and CTE-V3 (E0952, E1698, E1704) elements included for informational purposes

Features:

  • Filter on:
    • Single select Year (Default most recent PEIMS summer year loaded to File Center)
      • Note: Earliest year is 2021-2022 when CTE attendance service IDS started being reported
    • Multi select Grade (Default All Grades 07-12)
      • Note: Only students in grades seven through 12 are eligible for CTE contact hours
    • Multi select Campus (Default All Middle and High School Campuses)
