Six Weeks Attendance Report

Report Location: Student>Student Custom Reports>Attendance Reports>Attendance Summary

Summary: This report displays percent in attendance and attendance enrollment counts by grade level for each six weeks reporting period and cumulative total. It also displays a longitudinal line graph for percentage of attendance and refined ADA for current year and the previous 4 years.

Usage: Allows administrators to see how percent in attendance has changed over time and develop strategies for improving ADA during certain six weeks reporting periods.

Special Notes:

• Total Students row is an unduplicated count of students in attendance. It is not a sum of the grade level rows since a student can count in multiple rows if they were recorded in more than one grade level in attendance reporting.
• 2019-2020 COVID-19 ADA Adjustments per TEA Guidance: General Funding Question 1.
  • Only reporting periods 1 – 4 are used in the 19-20 calculations, any 5-6 reporting period data is ignored.

• Refined ADA by year – Refined ADA Total – Sum of all six-week periods, divided by six, and rounded to 3 decimals.
