CTE Course Demographics Student Counts by Grade

Report Location: Student>Student Custom Reports>CTE>CTE Demographics

Summary: This report displays CTE Course student counts by grade level broken down by gender, ethnicity and special populations.

Usage: Use this report for TEA audit reporting and other various data reviews.

Special Notes:

  • Summer PEIMS must be loaded for the desired year regardless if running by PEIMS or Class Roster Winter
  • Report can be run at the region level for ESCs
  • When selecting individual campuses with the District/Campus summary, the Campus Summary rows can have a lower amount than the sum of the values due to a student taking the same service ID at multiple campuses.
    • Ex: 1st semester completed course at campus 001, 2nd semester completed course at campus 002; student will count at each campus as 1 but in the campus summary only counted once.
  • Total Student Counts rows at end of campuses (if chosen) and district/campus summary are unique ID counts of students (students only count once). The total may or may not be a sum of the individual CTE Service ID rows since students can be counted in more than one.

  • Special population counts are based on summer PEIMS
  • Students are counted at the campus where the CTE Course was taken and only once per service ID. For example: Student A takes 13001800 – Floral Design 1st and 2nd semester at campus 001, student counts as 1 in campus 001; Student B takes 13001800 – Floral Design 1st semester at campus 001 and 2nd semester at campus 002, student counts as 1 in both campus 001 and campus 002 if selecting individual campuses but only 1 in the District/Campus Summary level.
