Report Location: Staff > Staff Custom Reports > Staff Detail Reports > Staff Employment Payroll Review

Summary: This report provides a Staff detail list of Fall PEIMS Staff Employment and Payroll reporting.

Usage: Utilize to compare current year to previous year payroll reporting by staff. Ability to sort, filter and analyze on Fund, Campus/Org and/or Role ID.

Data Source: Fall PEIMS Staff

  • 30040, 30043 – Staff Extension Complex Type
  • 30050 – StaffEducationOrgEmploymentAssociationExtension Complex Type
  • 30060- PayrollExtension Complex Type
  • 30090 – StaffResponsibilitiesExtension Complex Type

Definitions:

  • By Default report lists current year and previous year Staff reported in Fall PEIMS with Payroll information.
  • Employee FTE is an additional column reported and is calculated as:
    • Employee FTE determines if full-time or part-time staff based upon 30050 – StaffEducationOrgEmploymentAssociationExtension
      • If the number of days employed (E0160) is greater than or equal to 187, the FTE is a the percent of day employed (E0760) divided by 100
      • If the number of days employed is less than 187, the FTE is (percent of the day employed / 100) x (the number of days employed) divided by 187
  • Auxiliary Role ID, Number Days Employed and Percent Day Emp are reported on the 30050 – StaffEducationOrgEmploymentAssociationExtension
  • Role ID is reported on the 30090 – StaffResponsibilitiesExtension
  • Highest Degree Level, Yr Prof Expr and Yr Expr in LEA are reported on the 30040, 30043 – Staff Extension Complex Type
  • Payroll Details from the 30060- PayrollExtension are:
    • Fund, Function, Object, Campus/Org, Fiscal Year, Program Intent, Payroll Amount and Payroll Activity
      • Payroll Amount will display only if staff member has Restricted Access permission to Staff Payroll.

Features:

  • Years (multi-select); Default most current two years.
  • Campus/Org (multi-select) as reflected on the 30060- PayrollExtension : Default is all
  • Fund (multi-select): Default is all
  • Role ID (multi-select ) as refleced on the 30090 – StaffResponsibilitiesExtension: Default is all
  • Focus List (optional) – reference kb https://kb.ondatasuite.com/knowledge-base/how-to-use-a-focus-list/ for additional assistance with Focus Lists.
  • Code Descriptions On/ Code Description Off: By default the code and description will display (On) for the Payroll columns Fund, Function, Object, Campus/Org, Program Intent and Payroll Activity.
    • To only display the code, use the Code Description Off toggle and Submit.
