TELPAS Overall Composite Scores by Years in U.S. Schools

The TELPAS Overall Composite Scores by Years in U.S. Schools report displays a cross tabulated view of student performance for a given school year based on two criteria found in the student TELPAS data file. These criteria are the Plan-Years In U.S. Schools and the TELPAS composite Rating.


PLAN-YEAR YEARS IN U.S. SCHOOLS
Plan-Year In U.S. Schools are displayed for First Semester, Second Semester, Second Year, Third Year, Fourth Year and combined for Five or more years when applicable. These values are derived from the TELPAS raw data file, Location 229-229.

TEA TELPAS Data File Format Location: 229-229 

S = First enrolled in U.S. schools in the 2nd semester of the school year
F = First enrolled in U.S. schools in the 1st semester of the school year
1 = First enrolled in U.S. schools during part or all of the school year
2 = Has been enrolled in U.S. schools for all or part(s) of 2 school years
3 = Has been enrolled in U.S. schools for all or part(s) of 3 school years
4 = Has been enrolled in U.S. schools for all or part(s) of 4 school years
5 = Has been enrolled in U.S. schools for all or part(s) of 5 school years
6 = Has been enrolled in U.S. schools for all or part(s) of 6 or more school years
