Two Semester CTE Courses Missing Course Sequence 2 or D2

Currently in Pre-Release Reports. These notes are still in progress and do not represent the report.

Report Location: Student>Student Data Validation>Course Completion Validation

Summary: This report displays students who have either a summer or extended year CTE course with a first semester course sequence that has no second semester course sequence part.

Usage: Use this report to review students who have taken the first part of a CTE 2 semester course but are missing the second piece and might not get CCMR IBC credit when they should have.

Definitions:

• Students displayed if:
  • Count of Unique Service ID (E0724) course sequence parts > 1 AND
  • Pass/Fail Credit Indicator Codes (E0949) = 01 or 08 AND
  • Course Sequence Codes (E0948) are one or a combination of the following

Features:

• Filter on:
  • Multi select Course Sequence (Default All)
    • Filter lists all course sequence codes existing in the summer and extended year course completion records
    • Only displays rows where the selected course sequence(s) is the trigger
  • Single select Course Types (Default All Courses) – Uses Service ID E0724 to determine type of course
    • All Courses
    • CTE Courses
    • Non-CTE Courses
  • Multi select Trigger Year(s) (Default Most Recent PEIMS Summer Trigger Year)
    • Years may appear that are not in the trigger year if the duplication was across years
    • Choose more Trigger Year(s) to verify transcript coding for students. This will not take into account any historical changes that have already been modified in the SIS, but could potentially identify issues that still need to be addressed in the SIS for AARs.
  • Multi select Campus (Default All)
  • Multi select Grade (Default All)
  • Single select Year (Defaults to most recent Summer PEIMS year)
