π Overview & Core Functionality
The CCMR EWS report calculates the CCMR status of all LEA students based on PEIMS & TSI uploads. It mirrors the Domain 1 A-F CCMR report but adds flexibility for early warning tracking.
Key Differences from the A-F CCMR Report:
- No 12th-Grade Restriction: Allows searching across all grades 7β12.
- Comprehensive Search: Scans all found students for any achieved CCMR indicator, regardless of grade or year.
CCMR EWS Scoreboard
The CCMR EWS Scoreboard provides a visual representation of all calculated column results
Column Value Meanings:
- βYβ (Yes): Supporting data files were used in the calculation of results and student met at least 1 CCMR criterion.
- βNβ (No): Supporting data file were used in the calculation of results and student did not meet criteria. Refer to the CCMR EWS Crosswalk link above to review elements used in the calculation to ensure ALL elements used are represented and coded accurately.
- βSβ (Supplemental): A placeholder for future student codes (Industry Certification, IEP, or Armed Forces) derived from the CCMR EWS Supplemental file.
- βWβ (Working Submission): A placeholder for students who have been identified by the district as part of a working submission file. This value should only be attributed to any of the following column values reported below. For more details please review the following Working Submission KB support article. Working Submission
- Industry-Based Certification (IBCs) including Program of Study Completer status
- Diploma Type values for reported graduates with completed IEP and workforce readiness
- College Prep Course Completion
- Dual Credit completions
- Diploma Type and endorsement values for reported graduates earning an advanced diploma and who were served within Special Education Programs
- Associate Degree attainment
- “-” or ‘ ‘ (blank): Indicates that data source was not uploaded or available for the calculation of this item.
CCMR EWS Scoreboard totals
The CCMR EWS Scoreboard totals provide a summary total for each represented CCMR value by row. If a value exists for calculation it can be counted in either or both the denominator and the numerator.
- Y = Value exists in related file resulting in inclusion of calculated ‘Y’ result
- S = Value exists in related supplement file column resulting in inclusion of calculated ‘S’ or ‘W’ result
- Y/S =Sum of Y and S calculated values
- N = Value exists in related file resulting in inclusion of calculated ‘N’ result.
Note: Values of ”-” are ignored and not counted as N value.
ποΈ File Associations & Requirements
The report depends heavily on accurate data uploads. Missing files automatically result in an βNβ value.
- Required Core Files: PEIMS, AP, IB, SAT, ACT, and TSIA2 (Accuplacer).
- Tip: OnDataSuite can sync SAT and TSIA2 data nightly via OnSync.
- 4-Year Grad Rate Files: Requires Final Graduation 4-year longitudinal files from TEAL (loaded under TEAL > Final Graduation Longitudinal Cohorts).
- Note: It pulls from the prior year’s cohort file to calculate the current report year (e.g., 2021-22 file calculates the 2022-23 rate).
- Upload Status Check: Verify your files via CCMR Folder > CCMR File Upload Status report.

π οΈ System Logic & Special Notes
- Base File Logic: Pulls grades 7β12 from Summer PEIMS enrollment first; defaults to Fall PEIMS if Summer does not exist.
- Exclusions: Automatically excludes Fall and Summer Student Attribution Codes (E1000) 13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28.
- TSI Criteria: Calculated based on the latest CCMR Crosswalk.
π Filters & Features
Use the Show/Hide Filters toggle at top of page to access these options:
- Years: Derived from Summer/Fall PEIMS (best practice: vendor should publish summer data to TEA Ed-Fi IODS).
- Campuses: Filter to any campus
- Campuses & Grades: Defaults to grades 9β12, but filterable from grades 7β12.
- CCMR Met: Filter by Y, S/W, or N status, or filter by individual criteria columns.
- Filter: Filter to any CCMR Item Y value in the CCMR EWS Scoreboard
- Prelim Cohort Year Filter by the latest uploaded prelim 4-year cohort data
- Snapshots: Filter by specific snapshot dates. (See Snapshots KB link at top of page for details)
- Leaver Status: (Note: May not match Leaver Ad-Hoc queries). Graduates included must have:
- Leaver Reason Code (E1001) = 01
- Enrollment record for the graduate year
- No enrollment records for the subsequent year
π TEA Verifier & Tracker Comparison
Requires uploading the current year’s TEA TEAL CCMR Preliminary and Final spreadsheets. When enabled, a side-by-side TEA Column appears next to the ODS column:
- TEA Tracker: Compares to current year values using the all grades filter.
- TEA Verifier: Compares to PRIOR year values filtered to the 12th-grade level.

- Column Options: Customize and add/edit columns on the Student Detail List.
- Focus List: Create targeted student tracking groups directly from the list.
- CCMR Dashboard Button: (Upper right) Generates a visual dashboard of your filtered data.
- Printable Cards Button: (Upper right) Prints 4 student cards per sheet based on your filters.
- Format: Pre-formatted for Avery Postcard style sheets (e.g., Avery 8387).
- Note: Lists over 500 students may take several minutes to generate the PDF.
