The following information is to provide tools to determine recidivism rates for discipline purposes. A common definition is:
Students with two or more DAEP placements ÷ total students placed in DAEP × 100
However, this may be used for any disciplinary action. This can be determined using the Student Accumulated Discipline Incidents report located under Student>Discipline Reports>Discipline Student Detail

Choose the incident number range filter to 2+ and select the appropriate Disciplinary Action codes. The example below is for DAEP so Discipline Action Codes 04 and 07 are selected. The value of the result of this selection will be the number of students with two or more placements. Example: 37 students in the output.

Return the incident number range filter to 1 and keep Discipline Action code selection the same.
Example: 265 students in the output.

Divide 37 / 265 *100 for the recidivism rate of 13.9%
