Companion Report for #7 – Hispanic Discretionary DAEP Placements Including 0 Actual Length Incidents

Summary: This report follows all of the reporting for the Discipline Data Analysis  #7 – Hispanic Discretionary DAEP Placements indicator with the exception of incidents requiring Actual Length to be greater than 0. This report includes all applicable disciplinary incidents including those with Actual Length = 0 if the Disciplinary Length Difference Reason Code = 00 or blank.

Usage: Some Student Information Systems record the actual length of a disciplinary incident as 0 until the consequence has been completed. This report allows review of all disciplinary incidents that might eventually be included in this indicator report.

Special Notes:

• Both the DAEP placement rate for Hispanic students and the DAEP placement rate for all students include disciplinary incidents that have 0 Actual Length with a Disciplinary Length Difference Reason Code = 00 or blank.
• The report only displays the most recent PEIMS summer year with disciplinary incidents since prior years should already be calculated with the correct Actual Length.

• All Estimated Results are based on the calculations derived from the  most recent DVM Discipline Data Validation Manual available with the exception of including disciplinary incidents with Actual Length = 0 if the Disciplinary Length Reason Code = 00 or blank:
