Regularly reviewing and updating course completion data in OnDataSuite is crucial for accurate CCMR reporting. Ensure that all data aligns with your SIS to reflect students’ achievements correctly. Dual Credit, College Prep, and IBC information can be double-checked in the following manner.
1. File Center Course Completion Data Review
- Navigate to the File Center: Log in to OnDataSuite and go to the File Center.
- Open Summer PEIMS Data: In the TSDS Ed-Fi>Ed-Fi API tab, select the Summer PEIMS submission and click on Info.
- Review Course Completion Records: Examine the Student>Course Completion (43415) StudentSectionAssociation and Course Transcript entities to ensure all Records exist on the TEA iODS landing zone and are being Promoted from the latest data from your Student Information System (SIS). Also ensure there are records for the master schedule data under the green Campus Course Section area:

2. Administrator>Site Settings>TEA Ed-Fi iODS Connection
- If all of the entities promoted in the File Center look like reasonable counts, and there are still no course completion records on students, check the TEA Ed-Fi iODS Connection screen (must have admin access) to see if the Promote Only Courses Completed box is checked under the PEIMS Summer Submission Settings.

- If box is checked, only Course Transcript records that have E1068 – Course Completion Indicator equal true will be used to build course completion records. The SIS may not have this available yet, or it might only have 1st semester courses marked with this and to get predictive analysis for 2nd semester courses too, the checkmark needs to be removed temporarily.
3. Student Profiles
If you do have courses completed, the student profile is a great way to double-check student information matches what is in your SIS.
Example 1: Dual Credit
Verification Process:
- Navigate to Student Profile>Summer PEIMS>Course Completion
- Ensure that the dual credit course is listed with the correct Service ID and has a 1 in the Dual Credit Indicator
- Confirm that the Pass/Fail Indicator reflects successful completion (code 01 or 08) and College Credit Hours are recorded

Example 2: College Prep
Verification Process:
- Navigate to Student Profile>Summer PEIMS>Course Completion
- Locate the College Prep Math or College Prep English course in the student’s transcript
- Ensure the correct Service ID is used and awarded credit (Pass/Fail Indicator = 01 or 08) for the completed part of the course (Course Sequence = 0, 2, 5, or 9, D0, D2, D5, D9)

Example 3: CTE IBC
Verification Process:
- Navigate to Student Profile > Summer PEIMS > CTE
- Check that the certification is listed and the result correctly coded (01, 02, or 03) in your SIS
- Review all associated Service IDs to ensure accurate calculation of the CTE code, Pass/Fail indicators, and credits received
- This displays that they have the Certification and how the result is coded in your sis 01, 02 or 03 as well as all the service ids used to calculate the CTE code including the pass-fail indicator and how many credits they received for that course

- Service IDs
