Add Tabs in My Dashboards

Create spaces in the My Dashboards area to separate the dashboards’ widgets. Tabs help you organize your Dashboard.

The Default (Main) is the space that is automatically used if you add widgets to the page. There are also 8 additional “Dashboard” tabs built automatically for you by OnDataSuite that can be modified.

To add a tab, click on the tools on the right-hand side and click on Add Tab

Once you click Add Tab, options are available:

  • Tab Name: Name the tab
  • Tab Styles: Set the tab style including color and icon selection
  • Template: Select a district or global template that other users in the LEA or OnDataSuite staff have already built
  • Global Settings: Set a tab for specific campuses, different years, and a focus list for a specific group of students that will apply to all widgets on the space

Once options are set, click on Create Tab

The tab will appear on the left-hand side of the screen and settings can be modified at any time by clicking the edit or trashcan icon.

You can also rearrange tabs by simply click, hold, and drag

At this point, you are ready to add widgets to your spaces under the Tools tab!
