Percentage in Attendance Comparison By Ethn, Gender, Grade and Special Pop

Report Location: Student>Student Custom Reports>Attendance Reports>Attendance Summary

Summary: This report displays percentage of attendance across multiple years by ethnicity, gender, grade, special populations and all students for each six weeks reporting period and cumulative YTD totals.

Usage: Review attendance trends longitudinally across years to check for funding issues at the district or campus level.

Special Notes:

  • 2019-2020 COVID-19 ADA Adjustments per TEA GuidanceGeneral Funding Question 1
    • 2019-2020 Reporting Periods 5 and 6 will display Covid-19 and will be ignored for graphing and 19-20 Cumulative PIA calculation.
  • 2020-2021 & 2021-2022 COVID-19 Remote Attendance Calculation Adjustments
    • Percentage of Attendance (PIA) calculations are all based on the 42400 day elements
      • Sum of (E0937 Total Eligible Days Present + E1678 RS Total Eligible Days Present + E1679 RA Total Eligible Days Present + E0936 Total Ineligible Days Present) / Sum of (E0937 Total Eligible Days Present + E1678 RS Total Eligible Days Present + E1679 RA Total Eligible Days Present + E0936 Total Ineligible Days Present + E0036 Total Days Absent) * 100
