Attendance data comes from the TSDS Ed-Fi: SUMMER Ed-Fi API promoted data, however other data that affects funding can come from the FALL Ed-Fi API promoted data.
Locate the “File Center” on the black menu bar at the top of the screen. Select “Data Sources” and TSDS Ed-Fi > Ed-Fi API tab.
- Scroll toward the bottom of the screen to verify the current year PEIMS Summer and Fall API files have been loaded.
- Current year Preliminary files should be loaded until the Submission is Final. ODS begins accepting preliminary files in September of each new school year – as soon as your district flows current year API data up to the TEA IODS.
Click on the file to open and confirm what data promoted.
- Promoted Column: Represents the records that utilized TEA’s promotion logic to populate your ODS.
- Records Column: Represents the total number of entries in our landing zone retrieved from the TEA IODS.
NOTE: API data must contain dependency files for maximum Attendance reporting.
