- New Student Custom Report –Bilingual/ESL Refined ADA Report Post 2025 released with the new HB2 BE Funding Code reporting as of 25-26 – the reporting includes Summer reporting of Flex Attendance Bilingual/ESL if applicable.
- Finance – SOF udpates related to Bilingual/ESL ADA funding updates is pending TEA 25-26 Summer PEIMS Promotion Logic (due November 26) related to the new StudentLanguageInstructionProgramAssociation entity(reference section DR3 – DR6)
- In Development: New Staff Report – TRA Count by Years TRA Teaching Experience Post 2025 – projected release week of November 20.
- On-going updates of 25-26 SOF changes related to HB2, etc for Finance – SOF reporting as LEA data is available for testing remains a priority project.
October 28, 2025:
- Staff Custom Report – New Teacher Roster – Years TRA Experience & Base Salary Verification Report released based upon the 25-26 TWEDS/TEA reporting updates.
October 18. 2025:
- A new Student Bilingual/ESL Refined ADA Report with 25-26 changes in Beta Testing (Support – Pre-Release) Projected release live mid November pending the new data reporting in the TEA IODS. Once this is finalized, updates to Finance Summary of Finance ADA reporting will be applied.
- A new Staff – Teacher Roster – Years TRA Experience & Base Salary report released under Support – Pre-Release early week of October 20 for testing as the new elements are reporting in the TEA IODS.
October 14. 2025: The following reporting updates remain untested until SIS/ERP vendors are promoting the new reporting as noted below to the TEA IODS. As of today we have not identified any LEA submitting these new elements to the TEA IODS. If you confirm in the TEA IODS this data does exist, please submit a ticket with details including a Staff or Student TxUID to troubleshoot.

October 9. 2025: Updates related to the release on 10/8/2025 in OnDataSuite of the latest TEA updates (TWEDS 2026.2.1)
- Fall PEIMS Staff promotion of the new YearsTRATeachingExpericene and LEADesignatedTRAEligible Indicators released on 10/8/2025.
- Staff Report Center (Ad-Hoc) : PEIMS > Fall/Summer Staff area criteria updated to reflect the two new TRA related elements.
- Updates in progress on additional TRA reports to reflect these elements as relevent. Affects Staff and Finance – SOF reporting.
- Summer PEIMS promotion related to the Bilingual/ESL Funding Code changes released to accept the new codes from the TEA IODS in your nightly pull. However, reporting is impacted across the OnDataSuite system and we are working on the respective reporting areas.
- Updates released to reflect the new CTE courses for 25-26 in a program of study. This includes the inclusion of JROTC courses (including PES00004) in your CTE Attendance reporting – monitor on the Student – Student Custom Reports – CTE – CTE Eligible Days and Contact Hours Post 2021 report. . PENDING updates to the SOF to identify the JROTC funded courses separate from your existing CTE funded courses. Currently they are included in the CTE Tier 2 and CTE Tier 3 FTE values if reported.

- Full Initial Evaluation Count (data source: new SPED Summer submission – ODS released promotion on 10/7/2025.
- Non-Resident Full-Time Virtual ADA – funding clarifications under review to reflect the new reporting of FullTimeHybridVirtualProgramParticipation
- The new Six-Week Attendance submission is in review and prioritization for updates in OnDataSuite. .
October 4, 2025 : TEA released a major TSDS IODS structural update to align with the HB2 changes posted on the 9/2/2025 TWEDS (2026.2.1) updates.
Vendors received the technical updates from TEA on Monday, 10/6/2025 and are working diligently to apply the respective changes.
As a result of some of these changes the following areas are known to be “broken” at this time in OnDataSuite reporting until vendors are submitting the new data and OnDataSuite is able to consume the data and update respective reports.
Known immediate pending updates related to the Finance : Summary of Finance reporting are:
- Fall PEIMS reporting of the new Staff: YearsTRATeachingExperience and LEADesignatedTRAEligible indicators ( this will affect multiple Staff Reports related to TRA reporting)
- Summer PEIMS reporting of the Bilingual/ESL Funding Code changes as noted below (9/23/2025). Working to verify the new coding crosswalk to the SOF and will update reports as the data is flowing.
- These changes affect all the Bilingual/ESL Refined ADA reporting
- These changes affect the Early Education Refined ADA reporting of the K-3 Emergent Bilingual (EB) reporting
- Addition of the JROTC CTE course codes for CTE funding
September 23, 2025: Known pending 25-26 SOF reporting updates based upon TSDS release of latest 25-26 changes (2026.2.1) in the TEA IODS environment to align with these changesAND Vendor reporting of these changes in the TEA IODS (projected October) :
- Summer PEIMS: Bilingual/ESL Funding Code changes as of 25-26 pending TSDS release projected for early October. (Until this update – the reporting is based upon existing coding)
TEA deleted codes BE, D1 and D2 and added new codes B1, E1, D3, D4, D5 and D6. All reporting will be updated once the data is available in the TEA IODS. - Fall PEIMS: Staff reporting related to Teacher Retention Allotment (TRA) classification to be released by TSDS early October: Adding new Fall Staff coding YearsTRATeachingExperience (E3129) and YearsTRATeachingExperience (E3130)
September 8, 2025: OnDataSuite released two updated Finance Reports with placeholders for HB2 updates once 25-26 Summer Attendance is promoting in the TEA IODS. As TEA releases funding calculation updates and TSDS opens the TEA IODS to accept the new elements, OnDataSuite will be applying the respective updates. *Current projection is sometime in October to have the data available in the TEA IODS.

- Staff Teacher Retention Allotment (TRA) counts projections based upon 24-25 reporting information. *Note – updates pending once the 25-26 new PEIMS reporting elements are released in the TEA IODS and LEA’s publish the new information.
- Updated the CCMR Outcome Bonus Estimates and TEA reporting with the allotment increase from $2,000 to $4,000 per SPED Student as of 2024 Graduates (SOF funding year 2026).
TEA Updates as of September 4, 2025 training with Vendors and ESCs:

- Any new elements or codes will not be available in the TEA IODS or OnDataSuite until confirmatin of the TEA IODS update currently projected for early October, 2025.
TEA Updates as of July 31, 2025:
- HB2 updates requiring new 25-26 data reporting will be published in the TWEDS for 25-26 on September 2. Timelines for TSDS implementation of any new elements for 25-26 will be updated after TEA meeting on September 4.
- All OnDataSuite updates released prior to these official notifications will be reviewed as TEA finalizes the reporting data sources AND when that data is available in the TSDS Ed-Fi iODS data connection for 25-26 updates will be applied.

Key Points to note as of July 25, 2025:
- 24-25 and beyond Student related attendance reporting has been signficantly impacted by the TEA TSDS transition to Ed-Fi submissions.
- OnDataSuite continues to reconcile TSDS Submission Promotion Logic as TEA changes occur and clarifications are published. Reference: https://www.texasstudentdatasystem.org/tsds/about/data-collection-documentation for latest published TEA Promotion Logic by submission.
- OnDataSuite is working with TASBO on priority HB2 data point updates as we move into 25-26.
- Initial release related to the new 25-26 Teacher Retention Allotment (TRA) has been tracked on https://kb.ondatasuite.com/knowledge-base/teacher-retention-allotment-tra-resources/ – there are 4 new reports in ODS for monitoring and reconciling this funding going into 25-26. Data is currently estimated utilizing the 24-25 Fall PEIMS Staff submission. As TEA releases updates and clarifications for 25-26 actual reporting, OnDataSuite will apply updates.
- New HB2 Student data points for 25-26 funding as noted on the TASBO and Omar SOF Templates are in development with a target of late August / early September for release in OnDataSuite.
- Full Initial Evaluation Count: – pending TEA clarification of data source
- CTE Allotment: addition of JROTC FTEs: Requires 25-26 SIS reporting of CTE Attendance on the four courses.
- Early Education Allotment:
- K-3 ADA (projections for 25-26 based upon 24-25 in progress)
- ADA of FSP Eligible PreK (Half Day ADA, 4 year olds only) – (projections for 25-26 based upon 24-25 in progress)
- Non-Resident Full-Time Virtual ADA (pending TEA clarification on data source and calculation)
- 25-26 TEAEd-Fi IODS data is necessary for the successful flow of required PEIMS data to report on the Finance SOF reports.
