Often LEA’s would like to grant access to their OnDataSuite to ESC staff. The method used depends on how your LEA has access set up.
Manual Account Management
If your LEA manages user accounts manually then you may simply create an account in your OnDatasuite system for the specific ESC User. For more info click here.
LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
If your LEA uses LDAP all access to your OnDataSuite database is controlled by the LEA’s LDAP server. The ESC user must be set in the LEA LDAP server to be given access. Please Note; LDAP will no longer be supported with OnDataSuite after May 2023.
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)
If your LEA uses SAML all access to your OnDataSuite database is controlled by the LEA’s SAML server. The ESC user must be set in the LEA SAML server to be given access. Click here for more info on SAML.
